Today, the Euro costs $1.17, which is not as good as 2016 ($1.05) but not horrible. In 2016, The dollar was very, very strong, so anything you bought in Paris, including Vuitton, felt like a bargain. It all depends on the Euro/dollar exchange rate at the time of your purchase.
